"Josh, I wanted to thank you again for the great job you did with my Shorthair, Bruno. As you know Bruno is very much the "Alpha Male" dog of his litter. He is both physically and emotionally a tough character.
I just got back from an extended pheasant hunt in South Dakota with quite a few other serious birdhunters and their dogs. Even though Bruno is only a year-and-a-half old, the consensus was he was far and away the top performer. His points were rock solid and his retrieves flawless. I hate to admit it, but it was actually a lot of fun to watch some of the other hunters struggle with their dogs while I did not have to give Bruno's performance a second thought.
I particularly appreciate the way you were able to make him so responsive without tempering his great desire to hunt. This morning for instance, I took my over-under out of the gun rack to wipe it down. I looked around for Bruno but could not find him. When I did, he was sitting eagerly at the side of the truck, mistakenly having decided that because the shotgun was out, we were going hunting. (Either that or he was trying to coax me into a weekday hunt.)
Anyway, thanks for all your help. I would be more than happy to recommend your services to any other owner.

Josh is an excellent trainer. I have run english setters for 50 years and have dealt with many trainers in that time. Josh is the best. I took a dog with multiple difficult problems and asked him to evaluate and tell me if she was trainable. He said she was and he did the job. I would recommend him without a question.
